The Blog

So, as it happens, my third book is nearing completion. Well, really it's already done, but all I have to do now is wait for the edits to be completed. One of my lovely friends is going through my book and doing the secondary edits and pointing them out to me with an army of sticky notes. Then I get to fix those.

Then the fun starts. My previous two books are self-published, but with this one I intend to go all the way. Here's hoping at least one agent will like what's coming their way. And I suppose I should mention it's not only that! I'm currently editing the book of said friend who is editing my book. A trade, if you will, and I must say they've got a nice piece of work coming their way from her as well.

What else is new? Well, I'm looking into grabbing one of them iPhone things. I need a new phone, and since Google Voice decided to be lovely and cancel their texting (which is the only way I could text the one person I care to text), I'm grabbing a new phone with a new provider. Here's hoping that the antenna problems aren't too severe. But hey, I'm ambidextrous - why do I care?

That and I finally officially got a new car. We had it for a little bit before this, brand new thing it is, but now I'm paying for it, so woot. The only photo I currently have of it is the one I took of it the day I decided I was tired of people coming in and out of my house.

That should do it for now. Life is rather boring. It's lovely, but it's boring. I really need to take up skydiving.
